WHAT IS THE GIXLI BUZZ?

It's here! GIXLI was founded by a team of seasoned interior designers, (that's us!) who recognized a critical gap in the industry: the absence of a robust and supportive community for professionals. Despite our best efforts to find a space for meaningful connection and collaboration within existing groups, we found the landscape lacking in depth and organization.

Driven by a deep-seated belief in the untapped potential of a united interior design industry, we set out to create a solution. Our GIXLI Team envisioned a platform that would transcend the limitations of traditional social networks, providing interior designers with a centralized hub for creativity, collaboration, shared resources, and professional growth.
 
Today, GIXLI stands as the culmination of that vision—a professional network where designers from around the world can come together to share insights, exchange ideas, and elevate their craft. With a commitment to fostering meaningful connections and empowering individual designers, GIXLI is dedicated to protecting the integrity of the profession while propelling it forward into a new era of innovation and collaboration.

At GIXLI, together we are creating a movement that supports interior designers and the work that you do (and we know that work doesn't happen during normal business hours.) The Membership platform is a 24/7 centralized resource for Sourcing, Collaboration and Education all within one trusted, private, and secure venue.

As designers, we are only as good as our best sources. GIXLI is the destination for sourcing, from peer-vetted reviewed local sources to national supplier listings. At GIXLI, we believe that you get what you give! Maximize your business results by adding + sharing vetted resources to the directory with your rating. Sourcing for a specific project?  You have an at-your-fingertip guide to Showroom + Brand listings, too!

COLLABORATION

GIXLI is collaboration + building relationships for solo entrepreneurs of all tenures through live collaboration. Owning and operating an interior design business can, at times, feel daunting, overwhelming and just.not.fun. Nobody understands designers, like other designers. Tap into a wealth of knowledge from peers who can relate. Crowd-source questions, provide answers, contribute to conversations, give kudos and support to peers fostering relationships in an environment of privacy + encouragement.

EDUCATION

GIXLI is education with on-demand modules provided by experts in their fields, from paint selection to lighting plans and furnishings to wallcoverings with everything in between. Search, participate and grow your knowledge base day or night, when it is most convenient for you.

GIXLI is a business platform for interior design businesses. Unlike other platforms and social media outlets, we can ensure privacy, security and that trade-talk stays between designers without the chance for novice onlookers to participate. We believe in the power of sharing knowledge through collaboration, we take privacy seriously. The Membership platform is available to the trade only, not open to the public and accessible after a successful application process. GIXLI will not accept any other industry professionals except for interior design entrepreneurs.

GIXLI isn’t for everyone. To ensure only qualified, active interior designers are part of the platform, all candidates will submit an application answering a series of questions that confirms your background in operating an interior design business. Once approved you gain access to the platform and enjoy all the benefits of Membership!
